The Anglican Catholic Church is a member of the G-3 Anglican Joint Synods
A Statement from Archbishop Haverland on the ACA vote to reunite with the ACC
The Anglican Catholic Church is, of course, gratified by the decision of the bishops and executive committee of the Anglican Church in America to join the ACC. We all hope that this unification can be effected before the end of this year. We believe that this event will be an important step in the wider unification of those who are committed to traditional, Continuing Anglicanism as described in The Affirmation of Saint Louis. The 2017 Atlanta Concordat pledged its signers to work earnestly for full, organic union. We take that pledge seriously and believe our concrete actions are consistent with that goal.
As the 'G-3' becomes the 'G-2', the ACC looks forward to continuing our cordial and close relations of full communion with the Anglican Province of America under the leadership of Archbishop Chad Jones and of the APA's College of Bishops. We also hope to become again a 'G-3' or even 'G-4' by working towards full communion and then organic union with others who are firmly committed with us to The Affirmation of Saint Louis.
The bishops and leadership of the ACC and ACA will in the coming months work hard to merge our dioceses and structures in a way that is sensitive to existing and historical relationships and that strengthens dioceses and provides increased support for parishes and Church institutions.
