Saints Nabor and Felix

On July 12th are also commemorated Nabor and Felix, who were martyred at Milan about the year 303, where they have been venerated since the fourth century; and of whom it is said that they were two Moors of the army of Maximian Herculeus, stationed at Milan, who accepted Christ as their Saviour, and were cruelly put to death amongst strangers in a strange land, whence they went home to Christ.

GRANT, we beseech thee, Almighty God: that as the feast of thy blessed Martyrs, Nabor and Felix, faileth not to return for our observance; so the succour of their intercession may at all times prevent and follow us. Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the same Spirit ever, one God, world without end. Amen.
